We Are Not Like Everyone Else

Oh, look at that. Yet another site about comic books, videogames and pop culture. Haven’t seen a billion of those around already! I bet you’re just anxious to see what clickbait titles we’re going to come up with, or how insightful our opinion about the latest Agents of SHIELD episode is going to be. Well, before you groan to yourself, mutter “How did I ever stumble across this place” and prepare to click away, let me tell you something pretty important.

We are not like everyone else.

We don’t care about clickbait. We couldn’t be less concerned about the latest leaked set photos from whatever superhero movie is shooting at the time, nor do we want to write disposable articles about things that nobody is going to care about next week. On this site you’re not going to see reviews that talk about a game’s graphics, or a movie’s pacing, or a comic book’s dialogue. We’re aiming to look deeper than that and provide you with content that’s timeless and entertaining without relying on gimmicks or aiming to please the lowest common denominator. What you’ll find here are discussions, editorials, opinion pieces, maybe even a little bit of journalism every once in a while. What we hope to provide you with is entertaining material on a variety of subjects that relies on being well-written, well-researched and interesting to read rather than shocking or clickbaity in order to get you to read it. Maybe we’ve got what it takes. Maybe we’re way over our heads. But one thing’s for sure – we’re definitely going to do our best!
